Joel Klein

Joel Klein, MD

Dr. Klein is an MD at Complete care who has a special interest in autoimmune diseases and specializes in thyroid disorders.

Relying on an integrated, patient-proven approach, Dr. Klein successfully treats many autoimmune conditions like low thyroid, fatigue, stress, adrenal issues, hormone imbalances, weight gain, and more- conditions that, if left untreated, could lead to more serious illness. In addition, the same strategies can be successfully employed for those with more serious conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and many chronic inflammatory diseases, to lessen and even eliminate the need for medication and improve quality of life.

Having received his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1981, Dr. Klein, practiced Family Medicine in a “conventional” setting for 15 years, 10 in Annapolis, MD and 5 in Colorado Springs, CO. All the while, he knew and experienced for himself the value of alternative and holistic therapies and, incorporated them into his treatment plans whenever possible.

Desiring to devote more of his time to Holistic Medicine, Dr. Klein left his conventional practice in November 2000 and opened “The Klein Center for Holistic Medicine” in Colorado Springs. For over a decade, he treated area patients incorporating nutritional, herbal, and homeopathic strategies, into his primary care practice, to complement and minimize the need for conventional medical therapies alone.

Then a few years ago a learning opportunity brought him for a visit to Southern Oregon, where he fell in love with the area! Trading the Rockies for the Cascades, Dr. Klein has now settled in this region and is a wonderful member of our Complete Care team of medical professionals.

If you’re looking to partner with a Medical Doctor, whose background goes beyond that of a “routine” family or general practitioner- Dr. Klein wants to meet you.
