Audrey is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is devoted to working with her patients to discover the most effective strategies to achieve healing and health. Audrey believes health is found through a path of discovery that is different for everyone.
Prior to joining Complete Integrative Care, Audrey worked in urgent care for 5 years seeing patients for their acute care needs. She has been practicing nursing for 25 years in diverse positions ranging from hospital inpatient care to procedural outpatient care. She blends empathy and kindness along with her many years of experience into each encounter.
Audrey is working on becoming certified in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. This program is aimed at training healthcare providers to approach disease through a new lens, looking for root causes and treating conditions with nutrition and other natural approaches when possible. Medications may be used as an adjunct while making changes in life routines that can result in reversing disease conditions.
Audrey has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In her free time, Audrey enjoys running trails and roads, biking, hiking, soaking up nature wherever it can be found, exploring the world, reading, and listening to podcasts.
