Autoimmune Care

We treat a wide variety of autoimmune conditions and find the most important factor in our success is your commitment and ours. If you are motivated to improving your health, prefer a holistic integrated approach, and want more than the standard treatment options we are your place.

Your First Visit

When you visit Complete Care, our providers will spend time with you to uncover the underlying causes of your autoimmune issues. We do this through careful history taking, physical examination, and laboratory testing.

Treatment Plan

We utilize an integrative, whole systems approach to the treatment of autoimmune disease starting with the identification and treatment of the root cause of the condition, which commonly involves inflammatory reactions to food, past exposure antibiotics, and stress. The treatment plan will usually include making some changes to your lifestyle: what you eat, your physical activity, how you deal with stress, your exposure to potentially toxic substances, and other factors.

In addition to lifestyle changes, your treatment plan may include combinations of medications, nutritional supplements, or detoxification programs. You will become an active partner with your provider in the design of your own treatment plan. This allows you to be in control of improving your own health.

Why make changes?

The point of these changes is that your genetic makeup, the genes that you inherited from your parents, is designed to work well in a specific environment. Sometimes, when genes are exposed to the wrong environment, they don’t work as they should, and this can lead to health problems.

The good news is that, although individual genes may make you more susceptible to some diseases, your genes may be influenced by everything in your environment, as well as your experiences, attitudes, and beliefs. That means it is possible to change the way genes work in your body. Changing your environment can make the genes work the way they were designed to, returning you to health.
