Brett was born and raised in Texas and loves adventure and people. In high school, he decided he was going to live abroad doing international mission work. This led Brett to pursue education in the medical field, specifically nursing. Brett attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in 2013. Brett worked as a nurse in an ER in Dallas, Texas for three years before deciding he was ready to move overseas. Brett moved to Ethiopia and worked there for a year. He quickly saw the need for health care providers such as medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, and he decided to return home to become a nurse practitioner.
Brett started working again in the ER and enrolled in NP school at the University of Texas at Arlington. After marrying his wife, a fellow nurse, he decided to become a travel nurse. While he enjoyed traveling the country, especially the Pacific Northwest, he decided to put down roots after his two sons were born.
After graduation, Brett and his family returned to Oregon so that he could take a position with Complete Care. They are excited to make Oregon home!
Brett’s two favorite hobbies are being outdoors and being active. He enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming, climbing, running, and participating in triathlons. Brett loves spending as much time as he can with his family.
